Casey

This is a song I wrote about my cousin Casey. He killed himself this past March. As much as I want to be mad at him, I can't be. That was a choice he made. We are family. Family supports each other's decisions no matter how stupid they may be. I was in a funk for awhile and when I was thinking of making the same choice he did, I heard him telling me no. To move on and live my life. Casey, I miss you. I love you and I'm not mad. This is for you  <3

Hello there! I'm Amber...

          Music... It holds a very special place in my heart. It gets me tapping my toes, clapping my hands and stomping my feet. It is special because whether I'm happy, sad, or just plain depressed... it was, is, and always will be here to comfort me. That is much more than I can say for many people in my life. So why am I writing this blog? I guess you can say boredom but aside from that, I want to hear from music lovers like myself. I want to hear about your experiences and interests in music. I also am starting to write songs/poems and would like feedback as to how they look, as well as reading songs/poems from other people. So please feel free to respond to my blog.
